Job summary

Torch Technologies, onsite at Arnold AFB, TN, seeks a Hypersonic Aeropropulsion Test Analyst to support the 715th Test Squadron at AEDC. You will plan, execute, and analyze hypersonic ground tests and evaluate propulsion data from facilities such as the APTU.

Education requires a Bachelor's in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; proficiency in MATLAB or Python; you will prepare test plans, safety packages, reports, briefings, and coordinate with government customers and prime contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis and engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
• Familiarity with high-speed/hypersonic propulsion and compressible flow dynamics.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and analyze hypersonic ground testing for AEDC 715 TS.
• Analyze data from facilities such as the APTU.
• Develop test plans, matrices, and safety packages.
• Generate technical reports, data packages, briefings, and presentations.
• Collaborate with facility personnel, government customers, and prime contractors.
