Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Hypersonic Aerothermal Test Engineer/Analyst to support the AEDC 715th Test Squadron located onsite at Arnold AFB, TN. This role requires security clearance and a dedication to safety in demanding test environments.

Responsibilities include planning and executing hypersonic ground tests, data analysis, and collaboration with government customers. Strong background in aerothermal testing and numerical methods is essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete test inquiry, planning, and execution process for hypersonic ground tests in arcjet facilities.
• Advise government and customers on test conditions and addressing cell interactions.
• Develop requirements, test objectives, measures of performance and success criteria.
• Lead Technical, Safety, and Readiness Review Boards.
• Perform in-depth analysis of test data and prepare reports.
• Utilize simulation tools to support testing activities.
