Job summary

Stratolaunch, LLC is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer at levels II/Sr/Staff to develop and test flight software for an autonomous hypersonic air-launched vehicle. You will work across the software lifecycle, integrating vehicle management code and subsystem management software with a multidisciplinary team in Mojave, CA.

Responsibilities include implementing software for sensors and effectors, validating through automated tests, and supporting hardware integration and flight tests.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time embedded software development.
• Experience with serial communications, software test, and computer networking.
• Knowledge of RS422, UDP/TCP.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test flight software for autonomous hypersonic vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to derive software requirements and solutions.
• Support flight software architecture from concept to implementation.
• Interface with sensors and effectors, and develop related software components.
• Create and execute automated software test processes for verification and validation.
• Assist with lab/bench hardware tests and develop interface documents.
• Support integration of air-launch vehicle systems with carrier aircraft.
• Provide technical guidance within the program.
