Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer at level II, Sr., or Staff, to develop and test flight software for an autonomous hypersonic test vehicle in Mojave, CA. You will integrate vehicle management system code and contribute to hardware interface documents, test processes, and system verification.

The role requires real-time embedded software experience, C++ and Python skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Real-time embedded software experience required.
• Experience with serial communications, software test, and computer networking.
• Knowledge of RS422, UDP/TCP protocols.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new flight software for hypersonic test vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define software requirements and solutions.
• Support flight software architecture development from concept to implementation.
• Interface with vehicle sensors and effectors, and manage VMS integration.
