Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. is seeking a Fiber Splicing & Testing Site Supervisor in Columbus, OH to lead on-site fiber deployment projects at hyperscaler data centers. You will supervise splicers and testers, ensure ultra-low loss budgets, and manage testing like OTDR/OLTS with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Analytical problem solving for field issues.
• Proficiency with testing software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of hyperscaler network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Lead on-site fiber splicers and technicians to complete deployments on time and to spec.
• Quality Control & Testing: Oversee OTDR/OLTS tests and ensure loss budgets meet hyperscaler standards.
• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Client & Vendor Liaison: Serve as on-site liaison with clients, facility reps, trades, and vendors.
• Scheduling & Administration: Build daily progress reports and manage crew schedules.
• Cross-functional Interface: Coordinate with operations, engineering, installation and procurement teams.
