Job summary

Pro-Tel is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead high-visibility fiber optic infrastructure projects in hyperscaler data centers. You’ll oversee dense splicing, advanced testing, and ensure ultra-low loss budgets across complex networks. Roles require travel to field locations and Columbus, Ohio area residency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site fiber splicing and testing in hyperscaler data centers.
• Strong knowledge of OTDR, OLTS, VFL testing and interpretation of results.
• Ability to manage safety, facility rules, and clean-room restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: lead on-site fiber splicing teams to complete deployments on time and to spec.
• Quality Control & Testing: oversee optical testing and ensure acceptable loss budgets.
• Risk Management: assess risks and advise mitigation, including safety and facility rules.
• Client & Vendor Liaison: act as on-site liaison with clients, reps, trades, and vendors.
• Scheduling & Administration: use project software to track progress and crew schedules.
• Cross-functional Interface: coordinate with operations, engineering, and procurement.
