Job summary

Pro-Tel is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead high-visibility fiber optic deployments in hyperscaler data center environments. You will oversee splicing, testing, and performance metrics while coordinating with clients, vendors, and site teams.

Travel to various field locations and leadership of a technical crew are essential. Strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and documentation in a fast-paced data center setting.

Qualifications

• Leadership of on-site fiber deployment teams
• Quality control and optical testing to ensure loss budgets
• Risk assessments and mitigation recommendations on site
• Liaising with clients, vendors, and facilities teams
• Manage daily progress reports and crew schedules
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and procurement teams

Responsibilities

• Lead an on-site technical team of fiber splicers and technicians to complete deployments on time and to specifications.
• Oversee optical testing (OTDR, OLTS, VFL) and ensure test results meet hyperscaler standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and communicate mitigation measures to management.
• Serve as primary on-site liaison between company, client, facilities, trades, and vendors.
• Use project software to generate daily progress reports and manage crew schedules.
