Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with proven supervisory ability.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve field issues like optical link failures and dirty connectors.
• Advanced computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, Google apps; testing software experience (EXFO FastReporter, Viavi).
• Understanding of hyperscaler network architectures and high-fiber-count splicing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site fiber splicing teams to complete deployments on time and to specifications.
• Oversee optical testing (OTDR, OLTS, VFL) and ensure loss budgets meet hyperscaler standards.
• Perform risk assessments and communicate mitigation recommendations for safety and facility rules.
• Serve as the on-site liaison with clients, vendors, and facility representatives.
• Prepare daily progress reports and manage crew schedules using project management software.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement to implement changes.
