Job summary

Inherent Technologies seeks a Data Center Manager to architect and oversee the physical layer infrastructure for hyperscale deployments. You will design high-density fiber and copper pathways, ensuring scalable, conflict-free cabling in multi-site environments.

You will collaborate with MEP and network teams to align with topology and capacity needs, produce BOMs/SOWs, and ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE, NEC, NFPA).

Qualifications

• Active BICSI RCDD certification is required.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in structured cabling design.
• Minimum 2 years focused on hyperscale/enterprise data center or telecom environments.
• Proven track record of managing physical layer design for large-scale global delivery projects.
• Familiarity with BOMs, SOWs, and project estimates.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end structured cabling systems for hyperscale and colocation environments.
• Develop construction documents including floor plans, rack elevations, and pathway layouts.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to avoid thermal and spatial conflicts with cooling systems.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and as-built drawings to ensure design intent.
