Job summary

Corning Inc. seeks an Account Product Line Specialist to drive cross-functional execution for a leading hyperscale data center customer.

This role connects product solution strategy to day-to-day delivery, aligning forecasts and coordinating across fiber, cable, connectivity, and hardware lines to meet deployment requirements. The candidate will work with Product Line Management, Sales, and Supply Chain, developing roadmaps and business cases while supporting investment timing and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in commercial, product, or strategy roles; OR an Engineering degree with an MBA.
• Experience coordinating complex product or customer solution initiatives across cross-functional or matrixed organizations.
• Familiarity with hyperscale architectures, fiber optics, connectivity, or cable product lines.
• Strong analytical skills, including solution-level business case development.
• Understanding of hyperscale data center markets and architectural trends.
• Technical familiarity with fiber, cable, and connectivity infrastructure.
• Prior experience supporting hyperscale customer accounts at any level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams - including Technology, Manufacturing, Product Line Management, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain - to align execution against customer architecture and deployment plans
• Develop and maintain solution-level roadmaps tied to customer requirements; forecast demand at the solution level in coordination with Product Line Management, Sales, and Supply Chain
• Drive alignment between manufacturing capabilities and product strategies; support business cases for investment timing, cross-product dependencies, and customization decisions
• Track and communicate performance metrics including project execution status, profitability, roadmap progress, and SLA compliance
• Support customer-facing engagement alongside the Account Product Line Manager and commercial teams; monitor competitive and technology trends and translate insights for internal product and account teams
• Up to 25% domestic and international travel required
