Job summary

Corning is seeking a Product Line Specialist to drive day-to-day business management and strategic execution for a key product line. You will be the subject matter expert on product applications and lead cross-functional teams to translate market insights into growth and competitive positioning.

You will own the full product lifecycle—from development to pricing strategy—and partner with VOC, Commercial Technology, and PLM to identify new applications and refine product positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in product management or technical role.
• Experience leading product launches from early-stage justification through commercialization.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience executing pricing strategy across multiple pricing structures.
• Analytical capability to build data models in Excel or similar tools.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead product line strategy execution — integrating market insights, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth and competitive advantage.
• Own the full product lifecycle, including new product development, commercialization, product launch activities, and pricing strategy.
• Serve as the Voice of Customer (VOC) expert in customer-facing engagements; partner with Commercial Technology and PLM to identify new applications and refine product positioning.
• Lead resolution of product, quality, and service issues; align with Supply Chain and Manufacturing for forecasting accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to reduce product complexity and manufacturing cost at Corning and customer sites.
• Quantify value propositions and assess sensitivity to key assumptions, risks, and market dynamics.
• Lead strategic, technology, and operational Product Line initiatives through to conclusion.
