Job summary

Southland Industries in the United States seeks a seasoned Preconstruction Manager to guide hyperscale data center programs from award through construction. You will partner with clients and internal teams to translate requirements into actionable plans, manage budgets, and drive value engineering.

You will lead design coordination, develop proposals, and support win strategies while mentoring staff and ensuring alignment with client expectations and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Project Management.
• 7+ years in Engineering.
• Ability to plan projects and maintain budgets.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and engineering design.
• Strong communication and presentations with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction from award to construction and coordinate with client and design team.
• Develop estimates and conceptual budgets, assist in win-strategy.
• Coordinate with Estimating and Engineering for VE, A/Es, and decision support.
• Prepare major proposals and marketing materials for RFPs/RFQs.
• Mentor team members and ensure alignment with client requirements and budgets.
