Job summary

SLS Consultants in Indiana seeks a Senior Project Manager - Data Centers to lead delivery of a 1.5 GW hyperscale data center campus. You will oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder management with owners, contractors, and consultants.

This remote-friendly role offers executive exposure, long-term growth, and the opportunity to shape mission-critical infrastructure with fast-paced schedules and strong collaboration across teams, including site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center construction projects.
• Led projects exceeding $250M in construction value.
• Led multidisciplinary teams including designers, contractors, and owners.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning.
• Ability to lead fast-paced projects with aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple data center projects across a hyperscale campus.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality from preconstruction through turnover.
• Coordinate design teams, contractors, commissioning partners, and client stakeholders.
• Drive execution against milestone dates and campus expansion objectives.
• Provide leadership during design reviews, value engineering, and constructability assessments.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to mitigate risk.
• Lead meetings with owner, contractor, and consultant teams and ensure accountability.
• Oversee procurement of vendor and equipment for long-lead infrastructure.
• Support commissioning, testing, turnover, and operational readiness.
• Mentor project teams and share best practices for large-scale programs.
