Job summary
ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Principal Firmware Architect to design server and rack-level firmware for hyperscale customers. You will work directly with customers and partners to define architectures and provide technical leadership across engineering and management teams.
You will develop long-term firmware and security strategies, optimize firmware for compute/storage products, and drive adoption of firmware approaches both internally and with customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required.
- Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
- Experience with BMC firmware, UEFI BIOS, and OS/driver design is essential.
Responsibilities
- Architect server and rack-level firmware solutions for hyperscale customers.
- Develop, test, debug, and optimize firmware for compute/storage products.
- Collaborate with customers on firmware architectures for servers and add-on cards.
- Drive adoption of firmware strategies internally and with customers.
- Lead security reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to system architecture specifications and firmware content.
- Build long-term relationships in firmware ecosystem to influence next-gen designs.
