Job summary

Legacy Professional Services is seeking a Project Engineer to support hyperscale data center construction from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. You’ll work with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, QA/QC, and client reps to coordinate activities, scheduling, procurement, documentation, and technical execution across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CM/engineering/architecture.
• 3+ years of experience supporting commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling, procurement, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations and project activities with PMs and superintendents.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, and documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to support schedule and milestones.
• Assist with scheduling, look-ahead planning, and material tracking.
• Support MEP, Connectivity, QA/QC, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and turnover records.
• Use Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and MS Project for reporting.
