Job summary

Legacy Professional Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support hyperscale data center construction projects. Working alongside experienced Superintendents and Senior Superintendents, you’ll help oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure the highest standards of quality throughout construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent construction industry experience.
• Two+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Understanding of construction scheduling and field operations.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades in active construction.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily field operations from mobilization to closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors across structural, architectural, civil, and MEP scopes.
• Support project scheduling by monitoring progress and maintaining look-ahead plans.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety requirements and practices.
• Participate in daily huddles, coordination meetings, and planning sessions.
• Monitor work quality and assist with inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, and access.
• Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and project records.
• Assist with subcontractor scope reviews, field cost tracking, and timesheet administration.
• Support punch list completion, turnover documentation, and closeout activities.
• Build positive working relationships with project teams, clients, inspectors, and trade partners.
