Job summary

Legacy Professional Services is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support hyperscale data center construction projects, working with seasoned Superintendents to oversee field operations and coordinate subcontractors.

You'll help manage schedules, maintain safety and quality standards, and contribute to project documentation and closeout activities on some of the nation's most complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent construction industry experience.
• Two or more years of commercial construction experience.
• Understanding of scheduling and field operations.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades on active projects.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily field operations from project mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors across structural, architectural, civil, and MEP scopes of work.
• Support project scheduling by monitoring progress and helping maintain look-ahead plans.
• Promote and enforce all jobsite safety requirements and safe work practices.
• Participate in daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and planning sessions.
• Monitor work quality and assist with inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Coordinate material deliveries, site logistics, and jobsite access.
• Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and project records.
• Assist with subcontractor scope reviews, field cost tracking, and timesheet administration.
• Support punch list completion, turnover documentation, and project closeout activities.
• Build positive working relationships with project teams, clients, inspectors, and trade partners.
