Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in building systems engineering, focused on plumbing design for large buildings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Working knowledge of local and national building codes.
• Proficient in engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing.
• Strong plumbing project design and delivery background.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Knowledge of sustainable plumbing design and basic LEED practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on hyperscale data center projects.
• Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's area of expertise.
• Approve and sign off on work.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to develop specifications and design criteria.
• Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
• Present complex technical solutions to clients.
• Perform quality control reviews of work.
• Participate in development of technical proposals.
• Provide estimates for the engineering budget and schedule on large projects.
