Job summary

Yearout Mechanical, a Legence Company, seeks a Site Mechanical Superintendent for data center construction to oversee field activities across multiple trades. You will ensure safe, compliant mechanical installations in high-speed hyperscale environments and coordinate with leadership to meet aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities include commissioning, BIM coordination, and just-in-time resource management, with a focus on quality and efficiency for Tier-rated facilities.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification is strictly required.
• Deep knowledge of Plumbing, Sheet Metal/HVAC, and General Construction specifically within Hyperscale or Colocation environments.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and Procore for field documentation.
• Proven experience navigating the Level 1-5 Commissioning process for mission-critical cooling systems.
• Proven leadership in managing multiple trade groups in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & OSHA Compliance: Enforce safety plans and conduct audits to mitigate risks.
• Mission-Critical Oversight: Lead field progress across data hall builds and coordinate with project leaders to meet specifications.
• BIM & VDC Integration: Use Navisworks/Bluebeam to review models and prevent spatial conflicts in overhead spaces.
• Level 1-5 Commissioning: Guide the team through commissioning and ensure documentation (logs, reports) is complete.
• Precision Resource Coordination: Allocate manpower and equipment with just-in-time delivery across projects.
• Quality & QA/QMS Compliance: Review QA manuals and monitor productivity and adherence to standards.
