Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Share Data Center Mechanical Design Engineer to own the full product design life cycle—from requirements gathering and concept generation to detailed design, verification testing and manufacturing release for data center infrastructure.

You will develop and execute designs for complex mechanical systems backed by engineering analysis, lead cross-functional reviews with facilities and operations, and mentor junior engineers while advancing safety and efficiency across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction.
• Experience with mechanical infrastructure design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans, perform testing, and validate designs to meet engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot, root cause, and resolve potential challenges; influence roadmaps with data-driven decisions.
• Identify and scope projects around innovation opportunities and technology risks.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to foster team growth.
