Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Data Center Mechanical Engineer to join the Data Center Services team. You will oversee design, construction, and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical distribution systems for Google's data centers, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Mid-level engineers with strong collaboration skills will drive site-level mechanical solutions, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior staff while complying with codes and standards across projects in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
5 years' experience in design, construction, and commissioning of data center infrastructure.
5 years with data center operations and working with mechanical contractors.
5 years with electro/mechanical assembly and testing procedures documented.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical system design requirements for data center projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate to develop DC mechanical designs from Basis of Design to IFC.
Respond to RFIs and manage site issues with DCDE teams.
Contribute to new technology insertions and site-specific BOD development.
Oversee all site-level mechanical issues during execution.
