Job summary

Align is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead the design, build-out and commissioning of hyperscale data center electrical systems in the Atlanta metro area. You will translate design intent into safe, reliable field execution, on-site daily, managing schedules, budgets and subcontractors.

With 5+ years of mission-critical electrical project experience, you will ensure code compliance, coordinate QA/QC, and drive successful turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing mission-critical electrical construction projects (data centers preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and redundancy strategies.
• Experience with commissioning, load testing, and power systems (PDUs, RPPs, STS).
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage subcontractors.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA and related codes.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of data center white space electrical projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality)
• Act as the on-site lead coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Manage subcontractors from kickoff through closeout
• Track risks, changes, and ensure alignment with client expectations
• Lead QA/QC and resolve field issues
• Oversee design and installation of electrical distribution systems (busway, PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.)
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and ensure alignment with project requirements
• Support development of estimates, BOMs, and design criteria
• Ensure systems meet code, redundancy, and client standards
• Oversee field execution, inspections, and trade sequencing
• Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting
