Job summary

Align is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead hyperscale data center white space electrical systems from design through commissioning. You will be onsite daily, directing subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring quality across power distribution from critical upstream equipment to IT loads.

Based in the Atlanta metro area, the role involves local project work with approximately 50% travel outside Georgia. Competitive salary, benefits, PTO, and training are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing mission-critical electrical construction projects (data centers preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and redundancy strategies.
• Experience with commissioning, load testing, and power systems (PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.).
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage subcontractors.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of data center white space electrical projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality)
• Act as the on-site lead coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Manage subcontractors from kickoff through closeout
• Track risks, changes, and ensure alignment with client expectations
• Lead QA/QC and resolve field issues
• Oversee design and installation of electrical distribution systems (busway, PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.)
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and ensure alignment with project requirements
• Support development of estimates, BOMs, and design criteria
• Ensure systems meet code, redundancy, and client standards
• Oversee field execution, inspections, and trade sequencing
• Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting
