Job summary

Align seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead design, build-out and commissioning of hyperscale data center electrical systems. You will be onsite daily, directing subcontractors, managing schedules, and delivering reliable power distribution from upstream equipment to IT loads.

The role requires 5+ years in mission-critical electrical construction, strong knowledge of distribution systems, and travel readiness. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with possible travel outside Texas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing mission-critical electrical construction projects (data centers preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and redundancy.
• Experience with commissioning, load testing, and power systems (PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.).
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage subcontractors.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and related codes.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of data center white space electrical projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Act as the on-site lead coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• Manage subcontractors from kickoff through closeout.
• Track risks, changes, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Lead QA/QC and resolve field issues.
