Job summary

Infinitek Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a multi-billion-dollar data center and power campus in Texas. Based in Austin with regular travel to local project sites, you will work with the owner's team through design, construction, commissioning and turnover.

You will provide electrical oversight, review designs, coordinate with EPCs and contractors, and ensure design intent is maintained from design through turnover of critical power infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required with experience in data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale power distribution and critical power systems.
• Experience interfacing with EPCs, design consultants, contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications and technical packages.
• Provide technical oversight of engineering consultants, EPCs and contractors.
• Resolve electrical design and constructability issues during construction.
• Manage and respond to RFIs, design changes and field engineering queries.
• Support electrical installation, testing, commissioning and turnover.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines, construction teams and vendors.
• Review equipment and systems including MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators and critical power infrastructure.
• Help ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.

Electrical Engineer - Data Center / Mission Critical

Location: Austin, TX with regular travel to local project site

We are supporting a privately held developer delivering a multi-billion-dollar, multi-gigawatt greenfield data center and power campus in Texas.

This is a major long-term development combining hyperscale data center infrastructure with significant behind-the-meter power generation. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the owner's engineering team and support the project through design, construction, commissioning and turnover.

The Role

Working closely with the wider engineering, construction and project teams, you will provide electrical engineering oversight across the development, helping ensure designs are technically sound, constructible and successfully implemented in the field.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications and technical packages

Background

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

• Electrical Engineering degree
• Experience delivering data center, mission-critical or other major critical infrastructure projects
• Strong electrical design and construction knowledge
• Experience working with large-scale power distribution and critical power systems
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in the field
• Experience interfacing with EPCs, design consultants, contractors and vendors
• PE license advantageous but not essential
