Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium-to-large construction projects, including data centers. The role is on-site near Temple, TX, overseeing budgeting, design coordination, vendor management, safety, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years leading complex construction with 5+ years in hyperscale data centers, plus CSA/MEP experience. Role requires autonomous decision-making and leadership across project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years leading construction projects (7-10 years preferred).
• Minimum 5 years hyperscale or colocation data center experience.
• CSA/MEP construction management experience required.
• Multi-prime or alternate procurement delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team, contractors, operations teams and clients.
• Submit monthly project financial reporting including forecasting, cash-flow, etc.
• Review monthly contractor billing and perform job walks to substantiate progress.
• Develop, lead, maintain, and assist with contract negotiation of new and existing vendors.
• Lead input and delivery of work products from internal team members to ensure that new data center spaces align with the project requirements, customer requirements, all engineering standards, applicable codes, and specifications.
• Develop, document, and drive lessons learned, process improvements, cost, and schedule savings initiatives throughout the project lifecycle process.
• Work closely with the Operations to coordinate design criteria with budgetary issues and ongoing maintenance and operation of existing facilities
• Perform and or supervise weekly safety walks to ensure contractors are followingSB EnergyEHS policies.
• Awareness of the importance of mission-critical facility operation.
• Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management.
