Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support cost management on a large-scale hyperscale data center program. You will assist with cost planning, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Applicants should have strong communication skills and comfort in a client-facing role, with 3–5+ years in cost management and familiarity with procurement and contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in cost management or project controls in large-scale environments.
• Experience in construction consultancy is preferred.
• Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and cost-control skills.
• Familiarity with procurement strategies and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Support cost management across all project phases, aligning with scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare and maintain cost plans and estimates using benchmarks and specs.
• Produce monthly cost reports, summaries, and stakeholder updates.
• Assist in change control, reviews of variances, and pricing reviews.
• Collaborate with design teams, general contractors, and vendors to validate estimates.
