Job summary

Plant Professionals seeks an Executive, Data Center Core & Shell Construction to lead strategy, site development, and envelope delivery for hyperscale and enterprise builds. You will oversee multi-billion-dollar budgets, manage civil, structural, and MEP handoffs, and drive procurement with GC partners.

The role requires 10+ years in heavy construction and 7+ years in executive leadership, with a Civil Engineering background and PE preferred.

Qualifications

• This role requires 10+ years in heavy commercial/industrial construction.
• 7+ years in executive leadership overseeing hyperscale or large data center builds.
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering; PE license or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute core and shell construction strategies across multiple facilities.
• Direct massive civil works, deep foundations, grading, and utility infrastructure.
• Lead procurement, fabrication, and erection of structural systems and envelopes.
• Negotiate MSAs with GC contractors and civil EPC firms; drive long-lead materials.
• Ensure alignment for downstream fit-out teams and electrical/riser layouts.
• Drive CapEx forecasting, schedules, and change-order mitigation.
