Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Center Capacity Engineer to ensure our global data center infrastructure meets demand. You will analyze capacity trends, model future demand, and partner with hardware, network, and site operations teams to plan capacity at scale.

Based in the United States, you will drive end-to-end capacity planning for hyperscale data centers, mentor team members, and contribute to automation across Meta's data center fleet.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in capacity planning or infrastructure management.
• Experience with data center operations and power/cooling constraints.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for the three capacity workflows (receiving, moves, decommissioning).
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop strategy and drive capacity initiatives across data centers.
• Analyze business capacity demands and translate data into local plans for rapid capacity delivery.
• Plan and lead cross-functional data center teams to deliver capacity projects at scale.
• Build cross-functional relationships and influence policies to improve operations.
• Develop and share best practices across global data centers for capacity and automation.
• Drive alignment of capacity initiatives across partners to scale operations.
• Lead data analytics and root-cause analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.
• Create/improve global standards for processes and automation roadmaps for server hardware deployment and decommissioning.
• Work with Meta hardware/software teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Mentor capacity team members locally and globally, guiding challenges and scalable fixes.
• Apply SME knowledge of cooling, power, networking, and automation to capacity planning.
