Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking an Installer to safely assist Cabling Technicians on hyperscale data center projects. You will handle materials, assemble and dismantle low voltage carrier systems, and prepare work areas.

Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and bending wire, using hand and power tools, and maintaining workspace organization. The role requires reading blueprints and schedules, following safety regulations, and collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong teamwork orientation and professional customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance for heavier loads).
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools.
• Safely use hand and power tools after training.
• Lift, position, and fasten objects.
• Prepare and deliver materials and tools to the electrical trades.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Build relationships across diverse teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
