Job summary

Everpure is seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop robust Control Plane and Observability infrastructure for our hyperscale products. You will build interfaces (REST/CLI) for system management, hardware control, and firmware management, while monitoring key metrics to ensure high performance.

The role emphasizes distributed systems expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to best software development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• At least 3 years in software development and systems engineering.
• Experience with Golang, Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience building distributed systems and control plane functionalities.
• Familiarity with Prometheus observability tooling.
• Knowledge of gRPC or interprocess communication technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, high-performance Control Plane and Observability infrastructure.
• Build infrastructure to monitor metrics such as I/O counters, latency, temperature, performance, and errors.
• Implement REST and CLI interfaces for system management, drive management, power management, firmware management, encryption management, and LED management.
• Analyze logs to reduce boot drive logging and develop supporting infrastructure for log data recorders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices.
