Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a platform-focused engineer to own the observability stack, data pipelines, and a unified control plane for its hyperscale fleet. You will define contracts between production infrastructure and tools, and build the Kubernetes-based underpinnings that keep operations reliable at scale.

You will also own fleet state, maintain SLOs, and ensure hardware onboarding through ZTP, DHCP, DNS, and deployment artifacts. Strong AI tooling fluency is valued.

Qualifications

• Toil is treated as a bug; build automation to remove repetitive work.
• Design APIs with long life and minimal churn.
• Drive toward ambiguity by mapping and explaining complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Own observability platform: build data pipelines and health-check framework.
• Define API surface for infrastructure and tooling used by Fluidstack teams.
• Build production control plane and Kubernetes-based underpinnings.
• Maintain fleet state with SLOs and site lifecycle state.
• Onboard new hardware through IaaS with ZTP, DHCP, DNS and artifacts.
