Job summary

Everpure in Santa Clara seeks a Staff Software Engineer to shape the Build Platform and Tools, accelerating developer productivity across the hyperscale organization. You will define multi-year architecture for build orchestration, lead high-ambiguity technical work, and raise the engineering bar for the team.

You will mentor engineers, drive faster builds, improve reproducibility, and collaborate with engineering leaders to align tooling with strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Track record setting technical direction for a platform used by many engineering teams.
• Experience leading multi-team technical initiatives to completion.
• Deep expertise in modern build systems and toolchains with reproducible builds.
• Hands-on depth with build systems and orchestration tools in production.
• Experience with large-scale C/C++ builds and containerized build images.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and multi-year architecture for build orchestration and environments.
• Document architectural decisions and evaluate build system migrations and strategies.
• Drive improvements to speed, reliability, reproducibility, and debuggability in CI and local development.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and grow depth in build systems.
• Represent the team in technical forums and design reviews.
