Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking Test Engineers at Levels 2 and 3 to lead and support test operations for hypergolic rocket engines at our West Texas Site in Van Horn, TX. You will work on planning, hardware integration, data analysis, and post-test reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Level 2 focuses on developing expertise while Level 3 serves as a technical leader mentoring others and driving safety and process improvements for human spaceflight systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in a testing environment or related hands-on engineering role.
• Experience executing test procedures and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead daily test operations and execute test procedures.
• Contribute to or lead test planning and implementation for hypergolic rocket engine tests.
• Participate in test readiness reviews and post-test data reviews.
• Develop and update test procedures and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot fluid systems and test support equipment.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
