Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Van Horn, TX is seeking experienced Technicians to join our hypergol test stand operations team. As a Technician, you will contribute to the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of liquid rocket engine test systems using hypergolic propellants, under a safety-focused culture.

You will work independently on complex tasks, train less experienced teammates, and collaborate with engineers to design improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in rocket or jet engine testing or similar facility support.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot fluid systems, pneumatics, and instrumentation.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and fitness assessments.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test facility construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Execute test stand procedures with high reliability and minimal supervision.
• Perform test article integration and system checkouts.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Safely work with hypergolic propellants and high-pressure systems.
• Help train Technician 1 and 2 level team members.
• Lead or participate in 5S and FOD control.
