R3 WOUND CARE AND HYPERBARICS is seeking a dependable professional to operate hyperbaric chambers and ensure patient safety during oxygen therapy. You will perform pre-dive vitals, post-dive glucose checks for diabetics, and maintain accurate treatment records while adhering to clinical protocols.

The role requires a background in EMT/Paramedic or nursing fields, flexible hours, and a commitment to ongoing training and hyperbaric safety codes.

Qualifications

Must take initiative and drive for results.
Teamwork is essential in this role.
Flexible hours required; shift adaptability.
Background as EMT, Paramedic, LPN, RN or Respiratory Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities

Arrive at work on time.
Ensure safety of all patients during oxygen therapy.
Open the day by turning on oxygen and verifying chamber operation.
Maintain and inspect all hyperbaric chambers and perform routine maintenance.
Monitor medical history, treatment records and patient session results.
Conduct pre-dive vitals and BG testing for first-time patients and diabetic patients as needed.
Know vital signs parameters and emergency protocols; follow safety codes.
Ensure equipment is powered off and oxygen is turned off at end of day.
Maintain professional appearance and HIPAA compliance.
