Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator responsible for the daily operation and safe maintenance of hyperbaric chambers. You will oversee safety procedures and provide training to nursing and technical staff to ensure compliant and efficient chamber operations.

Applicants should have an NBDHMT-recognized course and at least two years of monoplace chamber experience. A CHT certification is required at hire, with the director course to be completed within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT recognized introductory hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training.
• Two or more years of experience in the operation and maintenance of monoplace hyperbaric chambers.

Responsibilities

• The Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator oversees daily operation and maintenance of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related equipment.
• Provides oversight for hyperbaric operations to ensure patient safety and chamber safety.
• Provides hyperbaric training to nursing and technical personnel on safe chamber operations, maintenance, and safety processes.
