Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator to oversee daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment. Reporting to the department supervisor, you will ensure patient safety and chamber safety, and provide training to nursing and technical staff.

Qualified candidates will have an NBDHMT introductory hyperbaric medicine course, 2+ years of monoplace chamber experience, and certification (CHT) at time of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT recognized introductory hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training.
• Two or more years of experience in operation and maintenance of monoplace hyperbaric chambers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.
• Provide hyperbaric training to nursing and technical personnel related to safe chamber operations, maintenance procedures, and safety processes.
