Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator to manage daily operations of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment. You will ensure patient safety and operative safety while overseeing staff training in hyperbaric procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT recognized introductory hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training.
• Two or more years of experience in the operation and maintenance of monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
• Knowledge of standards and codes related to hyperbaric facilities and U.S. Navy Diving Manuals.
• Leadership experience preferred; ability to read and communicate effectively; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chamber(s) and equipment.
• Oversee hyperbaric operations to ensure patient safety and chamber safety.
• Provide hyperbaric training to nursing and technical staff on procedures and safety.
