Job summary

Mayo Clinic is hiring a Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator to manage daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chambers with a focus on patient and staff safety. You will provide training to nursing and technical personnel and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

The role requires an NBDHMT-recognized course or equivalent, 2+ years in chamber operations, and CHT certification with leadership experience. Flexibility with hours and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Completion of an NBDHMT recognized introductory hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training.
• Two or more years of experience operating and maintaining monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
• Knowledge of standards and codes related to hyperbaric facilities; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of hyperbaric chamber(s) and related equipment.
• Ensure safety of patients and chamber operations.
• Provide hyperbaric training to nursing and technical personnel on safe operations and procedures.
