Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team on Army and Air Force bases, including Fort Carson. You will provide prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, fluoride treatments, radiographs, and patient education in a mission-driven environment.

The role requires an active RDH license, 1–2 years of clinical hygiene experience, X-ray certification, CPR/BLS, and HIPAA compliance. On-site work with a supportive, technology-enabled practice is available.

Qualifications

• Requires active RDH license and X-ray certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform prophylaxis including subgingival debridement.
• Assess and document periodontal conditions (gingivitis, periodontitis).
• Apply fluoride and preventive agents; radiographs and impressions as needed.
• Record clinical findings and support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings to patients.
• Participate in daily/weekly team meetings.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform prophylaxis, including subgingival debridement
• Assess and document periodontal conditions, including gingivitis and periodontitis
• Apply fluoride and preventive therapeutic agents
• Record clinical findings and support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Present treatment plans and provide oral hygiene instruction
• Obtain dental radiographs and impressions; maintain accurate clinical records
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally to patients
• Participate in required daily and weekly team meetings

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• 1–2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience
• Current X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
• Familiarity with Denticon preferred; training provided
• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA compliance
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.
