Job summary

BE&K Building Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent for complex process piping projects in Indiana. You will lead field crews, supervise welding, and bridge design and field installation with a strong safety and quality focus.

You will manage project schedules, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure timely progress and client satisfaction while maintaining BE&K standards and procedures. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and on-site execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience with Hygenic Process Piping on project sites.
• 8 to 12 years of construction project experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage safety and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day job site activities and OSHA safety compliance.
• Direct field personnel according to the project plan.
• Communicate issues and progress daily to the Project Manager.
• Report problems to facilitate cost-effective solutions.
• Establish working relationships with clients, BE&K team, subcontractors.
• Coordinate pre-mobilization activities and start-up schedule with leadership.
• Support in formulating construction schedules and maintain baselines.
• Ensure inspections align with baseline schedule and client expectations.
• Manage site pre-construction, mobilization, and documentation.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure project-wide safety plans.
• Attend/lead weekly foreman and safety meetings and monthly reviews.
• Closeout activities including transfer of utilities and punch lists.
