Job summary

Clayco SEI seeks a Senior Process Piping Superintendent to lead complex industrial piping construction across multiple projects. You will direct field activities, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and mentor field teams while collaborating with project management, engineering, and QA/QC.

Travel to sites nationwide is required; candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, codes knowledge, and hands-on craftsmanship to deliver top-tier piping installations safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical education preferred.
• 12–20+ years in industrial process piping construction.
• Minimum 5 years as a Piping Superintendent or equivalent field leader.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
• ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 piping codes knowledge.
• Experience with hydrostatic testing and NDE documentation.
• Ability to read P&IDs and drawings; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent industrial process piping projects.
• Direct field installation activities including fabrication tie-ins and testing.
• Ensure work complies with codes, specs, and safety standards.
• Mentor foremen, welders, and craft professionals.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules with project management.
