Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual dexterity required for operating, machinery, hand tools, and hand-held technical devices.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and hydrotest instruments are a plus.
• Employee must be able to work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the hydro testing of material in conformance to the required specification.
• Load and prepare the required Hydrotest Head at changeover time.
• Ensure product meets the required specifications throughout the first and last article of the hydrotest process.
• Check that all machinery is properly serviced before starting up.
• Assists in repair and replacement of equipment during maintenance shutdowns.
• Communicate with crew to achieve a quality product.
• Assist in the charging and discharging of material on racks.
• The employee is responsible in assisting with documentation and or technical devices for recordings, testing, and findings.
• Communicating to Supervisor and Engineer any problems with material and equipment.
• Employee must follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
