Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Manual dexterity required for operating, machinery, hand tools, and hand-held technical devices.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and hydrotest instruments are a plus.
• Employee must be able to work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time.

Responsibilities

• Hydro testing of material in conformance to required specifications.
• Load and prepare the required Hydrotest Head at changeover time.
• Ensure product meets required specifications throughout first and last article of hydrotest.
• Check that all machinery is properly serviced before starting up.
• Assist in repair and replacement of equipment during maintenance shutdowns.
• Communicate with crew to achieve a quality product.
• Assist in charging and discharging material on racks.
• Assist with documentation and technical devices for recordings, testing, and findings.
• Communicate problems with material and equipment to Supervisor/Engineer.
• Follow PPE policies and safety rules.
