Overview

Title: Hydrostatic Test Operator / Baytown, TX

LOCATION: Baytown, Texas - USA

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

Company: Tenaris

Responsibilities

• Performs hydrostatic and drift test on seamless pipe in a safe and efficient manner following Work Instructions and Procedures while complying with Tenaris Quality standards.
• Operates overhead crane and executes change over and setup of the machine using the overhead crane.
• Performs Hydrotesting and Drifting machine operation.
• Verifies coolant levels, test time, and pressure meets work order specifications.
• Performs LOTO, preventative maintenance (PM Day), and daily operative maintenance (coolant level, machine adjustments, seals, etc.).
• Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
• Performs housekeeping of own workstation and finishing line if needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience operating overhead cranes and performing machine setup.
• Knowledge of hydrostatic testing and drifting processes.
• Ability to follow Work Instructions and Quality standards.
• Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with LOTO procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
