Job summary

HRD Aero Systems specializes in hydrostatic pressure testing of cylinder vessels to DOT and FAA standards. The role focuses on accurate reading of specifications, calibration, and safe handling of testing equipment.

Under general supervision, you will contribute to quality control, maintain tests for safety equipment like extinguishers, oxygen systems and inflatables, and support continuous improvements for reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret procedures, manuals and safety rules.
• Proficient with computer systems and documentation control.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and calibration.
• Experience in a shop environment preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Read manuals and determine procedures and tools for servicing assemblies.
• Carry out testing procedures per written specifications.
• Observe and read hydrotest pressures and document results.
• Monitor cylinder tests for leaks and calibration accuracy.
• Operate retest machines and perform daily calibrations.
• Document and record maintenance and results.
• Maintain organized work area and follow safety rules.
