Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Hydrostatic Test Technician to operate and maintain a hydrostatic test chamber for undersea systems. You will verify structural integrity and watertight seals on sealed, pressurized enclosures before integration into production vehicles.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hands-on testing, inspection, or manufacturing technician roles.
• Familiarity with pressure testing and leak detection.
• Ability to read technical documentation, drawings, and test procedures.
• Disciplined data recording and following procedures with attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with high‑pressure systems, pumps, gauges.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Hydrostatic Test Execution: set up, operate and monitor the test chamber, pressurize components per procedures, and check for leaks.
• Test Preparation and Fixturing: install fittings, seals, verify setup, maintain fixtures and tools.
• Inspection and Defect Identification: visually inspect for leaks, seal failures, and anomalies; document findings.
• Data Recording and Documentation: record parameters, generate test reports, interpret gauges and calibration data.
• Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: maintain test chamber, pumps, gauges; support calibration.
• Safety Compliance: follow high‑pressure safety protocols; keep area clean and report issues.
• Cross‑Functional Coordination: work with production, quality, and engineering to schedule tests and relay results.
• Process Improvement: help refine procedures, fixturing, and workflows for efficiency.
