Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking an experienced Hydroprocessing Engineer to join its process engineering team in Spring, Texas. You will provide deep technical insights in hydroprocessing and support global manufacturing facilities.

You will lead capital projects from screening to startup, mentor teams, and deploy new technologies to improve processing efficiency while collaborating with diverse global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or refining.
• Experience in hydroprocessing and hydrocracking for fuels and basestocks.
• Proficiency in unit operation, process modeling, and catalyst selection.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in hydroprocessing and hydrocracking.
• Mentor and train teams; deliver technical training.
• Evaluate and deploy technologies to deliver business value.
• Lead process engineering support to operating sites during startup and operations.
• Act as process technology lead for capital project development from screening to startup.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of greenfield or revamped facilities.
• Lead model development, sustainment and enhancement; collaborate with third parties.
