Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Mechanical Solutions Specialist - PVF to join our Orlando/Tampa area team. In this role you will drive sales and profit growth by delivering value-added piping solutions and partnering with mechanical contractors and engineers.

This position requires field visits, design input, and coordination with project teams, plus travel up to 30%. The starting pay ranges monthly from $6,000.30 to $13,016.30, with Ferguson benefits and opportunities for bonus or incentive plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial pipe valves & fittings or related field.
• Experience with concept selling and solutions selling.
• Strong knowledge of piping components and hydronic equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Experience with 3D scanning or VDC is a plus.
• Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and training.
• History of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Business development for construction services and piping solutions.
• Bundle piping packages with focus on chilled and condenser water systems.
• Provide hydronic balancing valve solutions and kit assemblies.
• Prepare quotes and coordinate with project teams to fulfill orders.
• Conduct field visits and provide piping design input.
• Perform 3D scanning and engage with VDC teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturers to meet sales and training goals.
• Travel to Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville as needed.
